About the role

Dobco Inc. is seeking an experienced Site Work / Utilities Superintendent to oversee site development and underground utility work on large-scale commercial, institutional, educational, and public projects throughout New Jersey.
Responsibilities: Supervise site work and underground utility operations from start to completion. Manage subcontractors performing excavation, grading, drainage, and utility installation. Oversee stormwater, sanitary sewer, water mains, underground electrical, drainage, and other utilities. Coordinate site work with foundations, MEP, structural, and other trades. Read and interpret civil/site plans and construction documents. Monitor schedule, manpower, quality, safety, and subcontractor performance. Coordinate inspections, testing, surveyors, engineers, and utility companies. Communicate daily progress and issues with the Project Manager.
Qualifications: 5+ years of construction field experience with a strong background in site work and underground utilities. Experience as a Site Superintendent, Utilities Superintendent, General Superintendent, or similar role. Strong knowledge of excavation, trenching, grading, drainage, and underground utilities. Ability to read civil/site plans and coordinate multiple subcontractors. Commercial, institutional, school, government, or public construction experience preferred. OSHA 30 preferred.
