About the role
Position OverviewThe Senior Consultant – MQ Distributed Platforms will serve as a subject matter expert responsible for advising, designing, and optimizing enterprise messaging environments built on IBM MQ across distributed systems. The consultant will support organizations in improving messaging architecture, performance, reliability, and scalability across hybrid infrastructure environments including on-premises data centers and cloud platforms.RequiredSkills & ExpertiseExtensive experience with IBM MQ (WebSphere MQ) distributed platformsStrong understanding of enterprise messaging architectureExpertise in queue manager configuration, channels, clustering, and securityExperience implementing MQ across multi-platform environments (Linux, Unix, Windows)Knowledge of hybrid infrastructure integration (on-prem and cloud environments)Experience in performance tuning and latency optimizationStrong troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilitiesExperience with IBM MQ Appliance environmentsRole includes but may not be limited to subject matter expertise and consulting in:1 Mapping your work process flows and throughput workloads.2 The configuration of queues, channels and clustering.3 Latency and latency monitoring.4 Considerations for on??'prem and cloud environment integrations.5 MQ design and application Fabric across platforms, both IBM Platforms and non-IBM.6 MQ Appliance administration advisement.BenefitsOffered:Health, Dental, Vision InsuranceDeadline: Applications accepted until 04/01/2026 at 11:59 PM CSTWe are an Equal Pay Employer.
