About the role
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of medical records by verifying information and resolving discrepancies
- Compile, organize, and maintain residents' medical records in both electronic and paper formats
- Keeping the Central Supply area fully stocked and keeping units stocked
- Ordering supplies and compiling purchase orders
- Functioning as a liaison between the Nursing Department and vendor when necessary
- Audits for timeliness of charting by physician, physical therapist, nurses, etc., and notifies appropriate individuals

- What You'll Bring
- Qualifications of a Medical Records:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in health information management or related field preferred
- Prior experience working in medical records management, preferably within a long-term care facility or healthcare setting
- Knowledge of medical terminology, coding systems (ICD-10, CPT), and healthcare documentation standards
- Previous experience in ordering supplies and compiling purchase orders
