About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing individualized treatment plans to improve patient mobility, reduce pain, and promote overall well-being. You will work closely with patients across various settings—including outpatient clinics, hospitals, inpatient units, and home health environments—to deliver exceptional care that fosters recovery and enhances quality of life. Your expertise in physiotherapy principles, anatomy, physiology, and clinical documentation will be vital in supporting our commitment to patient-centered rehabilitation.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to determine functional limitations and develop tailored treatment plans aligned with clinical standards. Implement therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, trigger point therapy, exercise programs, and modalities to facilitate recovery. Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals—including physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and social workers—to coordinate patient care and discharge planning. Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation in electronic health records (EHR) systems in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. Manage discharge planning processes by assessing patient needs for home health or community care services post-treatment. Work with diverse patient populations including geriatric patients, pediatrics, neurology cases, orthopedics, and outpatient rehabilitation clients. Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, treatment procedures, exercises, and home care strategies to support ongoing recovery.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and physiotherapy techniques relevant to diverse clinical settings. Experience working with outpatient clinics, inpatient hospital units, home health services, and outpatient rehabilitation centers. Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) management and EMR systems for accurate documentation of patient care activities. Ability to develop effective treatment plans based on thorough assessments and current clinical guidelines. Excellent client communication skills to motivate patients and explain treatment procedures clearly. Familiarity with discharge planning processes and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams. Knowledge of specialized therapies such as trigger point therapy and techniques applicable to orthopedics and neurology cases.
