About the role
Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a dedicated Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Neonatologist to join Rocky Mountain Neonatology at HCA HealthONE Rocky Mountain Children's at Presbyterian/St. Luke's Medical Center in Denver, Colorado. In this role, you will practice within an 84-bed Level IV NICU—the largest in the region—caring for extremely premature, critically ill, and surgical newborns while leading multidisciplinary quality improvement and patient safety initiatives. This position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with pediatric subspecialists, help shape program growth, and provide high-level care for a multi-state referral population.

84-bed Level IV NICU located at HCA HealthONE Rocky Mountain Children's at Presbyterian/St. Luke's Medical Center in Denver, Colorado
Cares for infants born as early as 22 weeks' gestation, critically ill, medically complex, and surgical newborns across a multi-state referral area
Advanced respiratory, neurologic, and surgical neonatal care with growing pediatric cardiovascular and cardiac surgical capabilities
Established regional neonatal transport program with 24/7 neonatal and advanced practice provider support
Combines Level IV Maternal Care and a Level IV NICU on the same campus for seamless prenatal planning, delivery, and neonatal care
Responsibilities:
Care for extremely premature, critically ill, medically complex, and surgical newborns
Lead multidisciplinary quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
Review outcomes and benchmarking data
Develop evidence-based clinical pathways
Participate in education and simulation
Help shape the continued growth and improvement of the program

Requirements:
Board-Certified/Board-Eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
Eligible for Colorado licensure
Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
Interest in quality improvement and program development
Level IV NICU experience preferred
