What you'll do: As a Belt Fabricator Technician, you’ll play a key role in fabricating, repairing, and installing conveyor belts and components—either in our shop or at customer sites.
Key Responsibilities include: Fabricate, build, and repair conveyor belts and belt components Install and vulcanize lightweight conveyor belting Measure, cut, and assemble materials with precision Receive, verify, and organize incoming parts and materials Operate hand tools and heavy equipment (including forklifts) safely Pick up and deliver materials, stock, and completed orders Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Follow all safety procedures and wear the required PPERepresent Belt Power professionally at all times
What we're looking for: We’re looking for dependable, mechanically minded individuals who take pride in quality workmanship.
Required Qualifications: Strong mechanical aptitude and hands‐on problem‐solving skills Ability to read a tape measure and work with precise measurements Basic math and computer skills Strong attention to detail and organization Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in tight spaces or at heights Adaptable and comfortable in a fast‐paced environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Ability to pass a drug screen and background check High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred: Previous maintenance or belt technician experience Desire to learn new processes and grow within a skilled trade Work Environment &
Physical Requirements: Work performed primarily in a fabrication shop environment Moderate noise levels; well‐lit and ventilated workspace Use of heavy machinery, hand tools, and ladders Frequent bending, standing, kneeling, and lifting Strict adherence to safety standards and PPE requirements Schedule Full‐time position Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMOvertime and occasional weekend work may be required Travel may be required depending on customer needs Why join Belt Power?
