About the role

Employment Support Professional The Employment Support Professional supports individuals with disabilities to identify employment goals, build workplace skills, and succeed in competitive, integrated jobs. This community-based role includes hands-on coaching, employer collaboration, and timely documentation to meet program and funding requirements. Education and/or experience: Associate's Degree with two years of vocational experience, OR Bachelor's degree in related field with less than two years of experience in vocational services, supported employment, workforce development, or human services preferred. Valid NYS driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Essential duties and responsibilities include but not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned: Complete person-centered assessments to identify interests, strengths, and employment goals Build relationships with employers and community partners to identify and secure job opportunities Provide on-site and off-site job coaching to teach job tasks, promote independence, and support retention Develop and implement individualized employment and training plans aligned with person-centered planning Benefits include but not limited to:401K Employer MatchHealth, dental and vision insurance Group Life Insurance Paid Time off Tuition Assistance12 paid Holidays About The Arc: The Arc Madison Cortland is a non-profit agency whose sole purpose lies in the support of people with special needs.
