About the role

Paint Technician As part of the Open Road Collision group DBA Davis Paint & Collision, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality collision repair services with exceptional customer care. We are looking for a skilled Paint Technician to work on vehicles in a fast-paced auto body shop environment. As a Collision Paint Technician, you'll perform vehicle refinishing as assigned in accordance with manufacturer and industry standards.
Position Duties: Works and communicates with others on vehicle repair and status Performs quality refinishing while keeping on-time status in mind Performing work as outlined on repair orders Operating all equipment in the paint department in a safe and productive manner Following Safety Standards for the use of personal protective equipment (e.g., safety glasses, gloves, respirator) while working in the paint department Inspecting all work performed as a Quality Control (QC) measure as soon as jobs are completed Mixing all chemicals according to manufacturer directions/specifications
Requirements: I-CAR Certification preferred (will help obtain if you do not)Knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer (OEM Certified Preferred)Must be able to operate a vehicle legally Genuine interest in providing an exceptional customer experience Friendliness, enthusiasm, reliability, with a positive "team-player" attitude Strong work-ethic with the ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment Open Road is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
