About the role

Respiratory Therapist We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to provide exceptional care and support to patients. This position will involve a range of duties to ensure the highest quality of respiratory therapy services.
Key Responsibilities: Administer respiratory therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by physicians. Perform diagnostic tests and assessments to evaluate patients' respiratory conditions. Monitor and document patient progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care. Educate patients and their families regarding respiratory health and therapies. Maintain and operate respiratory care equipment safely and effectively.
Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical setting. Active and current Respiratory Therapy certifications are required prior to starting. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize work effectively. The facility provides care to approximately 13,000 patients annually, including a busy emergency room treating over 50,000 patients. The organization values high standards of care and is accredited by a nationally recognized agency.
Additional Information: Orientation for new hires is conducted biweekly on Wednesdays. Candidates should be aware that additional certifications may be required as per current regulations. Client Details City Beckley State WV
