First Article Inspection Specialist Visium Resources has been asked to identify qualified candidates for this First Article Inspection Specialist position. This position is a contract to direct opportunity which is expected to be on-site in Middletown, CT.
Summary: The First Article Inspection Specialist will be responsible for all First Article Inspections (FAIs) meet customer requirements, productivity, and quality expectations. Provide support to Quality and Program Management Shift6:30 - 3:00 PM - Monday to Thursday
Responsibilities: Create FAIs as per AS9102 and customer requirements. Using technical knowledge and experience, interpret drawing requirements and accuracy for first-run orders and drawing revisions. Identify missing or erroneous information and verify that all drawing and specification requirements are met on FAIs. Perform part inspections related to FAI.Create work instructions detailing standard work for FAI related processes. Provide direction and train other team members as needed. Make recommendations for improvements contribute to 5S program in work area. Maintain clean and safe work environment. Follow safety and environmental procedures and regulations. Report safety and environmental incidents to supervisor. Provide a high level of service to all internal and external customers. Contribute to positive teamwork environment. Perform other duties as assigned. Accomplish related results as needed.
