A Day Porter must ensure he/she follows company mission statement and values.Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Maintain a high standard of excellenceClean main entrance glassEmpty and replace liners on all exterior trash receptaclesPolicing of restrooms restocking product (i.e. Soap, towels, tissue and deodorizers, as needed)Dusting of mullions and exterior windowsillsDust mop main lobby floorDusting of light fixtures and metal work in lobbyCheck common area and clean interior of elevator cabsWalk/police interior or exterior stairwells.Pour water down the drains in all restroomsVacuumDust mop/sweep hard surface floorsWet mop hard surface floorsReport unit maintenance issues as per company procedureReport damaged, dirty or stained carpets, drapes, furniture and linensReport inventory and supplies to SupervisorReport lost and found items to Supervisor/ManagerAssist in maintaining storage closets clean and organizedEnsure a safe working environment at each site and officeUtilize supplies and equipment efficiently and effectivelyUtilize time wisely and efficientlyExperience and Education RequirementsJanitorial experience is a plus.A passion for cleanlinessStrong work ethicAbility to learn and change behaviorWork irregular hoursTravel – rarelyPhysical Requirements:This position frequently requires standing, walking, pushing, pulling, moving, lifting (up to 25 lbs), bending, reaching, occasional ascending/descending, and repetitive motions.
