About the role
- Assist Pricing leadership with the development of pricing programs and financial models and provide ongoing measurement on their effectiveness.
- Analyze market trends and competitor pricing to identify strategic opportunities and improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.
- Generate financial analyses that support the development of pricing strategies, pricing policies, and optimization of pricing management.
- Provide ongoing profitability analytics, and timely and accurate financial information to support firm's client profitability objectives.
- Support the annual billing rate-setting process, including benchmarking analysis and ongoing maintenance of hourly and alternative fee arrangements.
- Maintain and validate the accuracy of pricing databases, tools, and templates, including Iridium and Elite 3E, to ensure consistent and reliable data capture.
- Prepare and present pricing analyses, reports, and dashboards to Pricing leadership and attorneys to support decision-making.
- Provide ad hoc financial analyses as requested.
- Assist in developing and maintaining a pricing model database.
- Assist in responding to requests from attorneys for matter planning, budgeting, and tracking.
- Identify and implement opportunities to leverage Excel and automation to minimize effort where possible.
- Assist in responding to requests for proposals specific to alternative pricing strategies; prepare pricing estimates.
- Other duties as assigned.
