About the role
- Build new office equipment from using sequence of events documents, diagrams, and mechanical sub-assemblies.
- Diagnose, tear down, and repair faulty electro-mechanical components on returned or failing units.
- Replace defective components including motors, circuit boards, rollers, sensors, and gears.
- Use multimeters, calipers, and diagnostic software to locate root causes of hardware errors.
- Perform full functional testing on both newly built and repaired units to ensure factory standards.
- Log all build tracking data, failure modes, and repair actions into the production
- & SkillsHigh School Diploma or GED required; technical degree or electronics certification is highly preferred.3+ years of experience in electro-mechanical assembly, technical repair, or field service.
- Strong troubleshooting mindset with the ability to read technical schematics, parts illustrations, and wiring diagrams.
- Proficiency with precision hand tools, software testing, and digital diagnostic equipment.
