Raines Co. - Your Future is Now!Position Summary: The Task Force General Manager plays a critical role in supporting hotel operations during periods of transition, high demand, or leadership gaps. This position requires a highly skilled and adaptable individual with a deep understanding of hotel operations and the ability to step into various management roles seamlessly. The Task Force General Manager ensures continuity, operational efficiency, and guest satisfaction while maintaining the highest brand standards.Established in 1988 as a family-owned business, we have grown into a fully integrated development, management, and investment company that develops, operates, and owns the world's leading hotel brands as well as boutique hotels. Raines has maintained a family-oriented culture that believes in building relationships with our associates, with our partners and within the communities where we operate.Provide on-site management support for hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, and maintenance departments.Ensure smooth day-to-day operations by addressing immediate needs, resolving guest concerns, and supporting team members.Implement and uphold brand standards, operational policies, and procedures across all departments.Mentor, and motivate hotel staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.Support hiring, onboarding, and training of team members as needed.Use tools, systems and applications without exception.Address team performance issues promptly and effectively, providing constructive feedback and coaching.Provide hands-on support for front office operations and/or other departments.Assist in implementing strategies to optimize revenue and control costs.Prepare reports and communicate key financial and operational metrics to property leadership and corporate teams.Maintain a strong presence in the lobby and public areas, engaging with guests to ensure satisfaction.Address and resolve guest complaints or service issues promptly and professionally.Promote a culture of exceptional service, anticipating and exceeding guest expectations.Quickly assess and address operational challenges, such as staffing shortages, system failures, or emergencies.Develop and implement action plans to stabilize and improve operations during transitional periods.Travel to various hotel properties as assigned, often on short notice.Quickly adapt to different property sizes, brands, and operational structures.Experience and Education:5+ years of hotel management experience, with a focus on operations.Prior task force or multi-property experience is highly desirable.Prior General Manager, Operations Manager or Assistant General Manager experienceStrong leadership and team management abilities.Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., Opera, PMS systems) and Microsoft 365.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferredTravel:Up to 100% travel based on needs of properties.Willingness to travel extensively and work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
