Job Description: Electrical Assembler / Wiring Technician
Location: Union, NJ Job Type: Full-Time Industry: Electrical Engineering / Manufacturing Pay: Based on Experience Job Description Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Electrical Assembler / Wiring Technician for an established electrical engineering and manufacturing company in Union, NJ. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience assembling electrical components, reading electrical schematics and performing electrical wiring. We are looking for someone who is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities: Assemble, wire and install electrical components and equipment according to engineering specifications. Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and technical drawings. Perform point-to-point wiring, wire routing, crimping and termination. Assemble electrical panels, control boxes and other electrical equipment. Install and connect terminal blocks, switches, relays, circuit breakers and related components. Inspect and troubleshoot completed assemblies to ensure proper wiring and functionality. Use hand tools, power tools and electrical testing equipment. Maintain quality standards and follow workplace safety procedures.
Qualifications: Previous experience in electrical assembly, panel wiring or electrical manufacturing. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams is required. Experience wiring and assembling electrical components. Familiarity with electrical hand tools, wire strippers, crimpers and multimeters. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience with switchgear, control panels or industrial electrical equipment is a plus.
