Great opportunity for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to work for a global manufacturing technology leader located in Phoenix, AZOur client is a high-tech facilities manufacturer looking for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to be responsible for fabrication & assembly processes, continuous improvement, tooling, and manufacturing and plant layoutsResponsibilitiesProcess Development Project Management – ensuring completion from start to finishSupports and/or leads product launch activitiesReview engineering specifications, process flows, and other information to understand methods and activities in manufacturing and servicesDefine how to manufacture parts or products, or deliver services, with maximum efficiencyDevelop quality control procedures to resolve production problems or minimize costsWork with customers and management to develop standards for design and productionConfer with clients concerning product specifications, vendors about purchases, management personnel about manufacturing capabilities, and staff about the status of projectsDevelop, recommend, and implement initiatives to improve production metrics and financial performanceDevelops manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment; conferring with equipment vendorsAssures product and process quality by designing testing methods; testing finished- product and process capabilities; establishing standards; confirming manufacturing processesProvides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs; reviewing production schedules; estimating future requirementsCompletes design and development projects by training and guiding techniciansQualificationsBachelor’s degree in mechanical or industrial engineering, or relevant experienceAt least 3 years of manufacturing engineering experience in a similar manufacturing environment required
