Job Description: The Vacuum Technician position is available in Westminster, MA. This role offers a direct hire opportunity with a competitive pay range of $30-$40 per hour based on experience, and the company is known for its commitment to innovation in vacuum processing technology. Shift of the Vacuum Technician: M-F 7:00am-3:30pm Pay Rate/Salary of the Vacuum Technician: $35-$40 per hour based on experience Responsibilities of the Vacuum Technician: Perform vacuum processing, leak checking, and measurement of various components and systems. Set up and break down systems/products, conduct preventive and unplanned maintenance, and troubleshoot equipment issues. Follow written policies and procedures to complete critical vacuum processing and measurement activities. Participate in long-term projects including equipment upgrades and implementation. Qualifications of the Vacuum Technician: AS degree in a related field and/or 5+ years of relevant manufacturing experience. Knowledge of vacuum pumps, blowers, and sensors used in manufacturing is preferred. Experience in troubleshooting and maintaining vacuum equipment in a manufacturing facility. High school education required. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality improvement techniques.
