About the role
What You’ll Do:
Manage daily operations across warehouse, shipping/receiving, delivery, and counter sales Lead, schedule, and develop a team of approximately 20 employees Own inventory accuracy, fleet/delivery efficiency, and counter service levels Build and refine operational processes to improve throughput and reduce waste Use sales data and analytics to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities at the branch level Partner with the sales team on pricing, stock strategy, and customer service standards Maintain and grow relationships with contractor accounts, including on-site visits when needed Enforce safety standards and DOT compliance for delivery operations Report on branch performance and recommend improvements to leadership
What We’re Looking For:
Experience in concrete, construction materials, or building supply operations strongly preferred Prior experience managing a team of 15+ across multiple functions (warehouse, delivery, counter)Comfortable working with sales analytics and reporting to drive decisions Track record of building or improving operational processes Existing relationships with contractors in the concrete/construction space a plus Strong communicator who can lead from the floor, not just from an office Valid driver’s license; ability to pass a background check and drug screen
