About the role

We are excited to kick off another Light the Night season! Light the Night is our annual walk event, which aims to bring light to the darkness of cancer through funding of research to find blood cancer cures. Here in the Chicagoland area, we host three Light The Night walks: Glenview on Saturday, October 3rdWestern Springs on Saturday, October 17thChicago (Soldier Field) on Saturday, October 24thThese three sites draw thousands of attendees and create an incredible atmosphere you have to experience to believe-but we can't make the magic happen without an amazing crew of volunteers. That's where you come in! We'd love to invite you to be part of the action by volunteering at the Light the Night event nearest to you. It's a night full of community, inspiration, and energy-and trust us, you won't want to miss it! Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
