Their subscription-based automation model delivers field-ready solutions without the upfront cost of new equipment.
Backed by more than $18M in venture funding and recognized for four consecutive years on a leading construction robotics industry Top 50 list, they're now building out their financial leadership team to support the next stage of growth, including a path toward IPO readiness.
Role Overview:
This is a rare opportunity to build a finance function from the ground up as the first foundational US finance leader for the business. You'll own a broad, hands-on mandate - from day-to-day controllership, treasury and tax to spearheading IPO-readiness - while partnering closely with the global leadership team and scaling your own team along the way.
Where you will make a difference Own the monthly and quarterly US GAAP close, including complex revenue recognition across hardware and subscription models (ASC 606)
Manage hardware COGS/BOM, inventory tracking, fixed-asset and capex accounting, and gross margin analysis
Oversee AP/AR and payroll cycles while driving ERP improvements, internal controls, and external audit support
Lead federal and multi-state tax compliance, transfer pricing, and R&D credits, directing external specialists as needed
Direct cash and FX management, and establish investment, borrowing, and delegation-of-authority policies
Manage bank credit facilities, equipment capital leases, and fleet financing strategies
Spearhead SEC-ready financial reporting, GAAP conversion, segment reporting, and fast-close frameworks as part of IPO-readiness
Design the risk-control matrix and ITGCs, and drive SOX Section 404(a) readiness
Manage equity-compensation accounting and help establish foundational corporate governance
Who you are:
Founder's mentality - proactive, adaptable, and comfortable building processes, policies, and teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Experience as a finance leader with ops-first controllership experience at a hard-tech, robotics, or manufacturing company
Deep US GAAP fluency across revenue recognition (ASC 606), cost/inventory accounting, and leasing (ASC 842)
Hands-on experience with treasury, debt/leasing, and equipment or fleet financing
Nice to have:
(not essential):Direct experience leading or playing a key role in a US IPO or public-company readiness process
Background in construction tech, construction equipment, or other capital-equipment businesses
Korean language proficiency, to support communication with the global HQ team
