About the role
Job Title Designs, develops, and implements Hadoop eco-system based applications to support business requirements. Follows approved life cycle methodologies, creates design documents, and performs program coding and testing. Resolves technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation.
Experience/Skills Required:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and 5 years experience in computer programming, software development or related 3+ years of solid Java and 2+ years experience in design, implementation, and support of solutions big data solution in Hadoop using Hive, Spark, Drill, Impala, HBaseHands on experience with Unix, Teradata and other relational databases. Experience with @Scale a plus. Strong communication and problem-solving skills What are the top 3 skills needed/required? Collaborate with tech leads and work on assigned tasks to support the business initiatives Do the required design coding, testing to implement business functionalities Work with cross functional teams to understand the dependencies and make the required changes in design & implementation. Work with the team to perform stage/prod deployment Document features, processes along with troubleshooting guide and share with team What is the project this person will be working on? There are three tech leads with Senior engineers and a couple of junior engineers Does the candidate need to be in a certain Client location/hub or remote?
