Job Description: Johnson Industrial Machinery Services is hiring a Stainless Steel & Aluminum Fabricator to join our growing team. This position plays a critical role in producing high-quality stainless-steel and aluminum components for custom fabrication projects for various types of industry. What You’ll Do: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications Cut, shape, and assemble stainless steel & aluminum materials Perform TIG and MIG welding, grinding, polishing, and finishing Ensure accurate measurements and high-quality results Inspect finished work and correct any defects Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow all shop safety procedures and standards Work alongside fabrication team members to meet production deadlines
Requirements: Proven experience in stainless steel & aluminum fabrication Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset Self-motivated with a positive, can-do attitude Strong attention to detail and quality control Ability to think quickly and problem solve Ability to work in a fast-paced shop environment Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to work in various climate conditions Experience with polishing and finishing stainless steel products Familiarity with fabrication tools and shop equipment Ability to read and execute from detailed shop drawings Reliable and punctual—ready to work on time every day\nCompany DescriptionA family-owned metal fabrication shop that is involved in the tobacco, textile, food, pharmaceutical, pet food, detention, and farm systems.
