About the role
CSP has partnered with a thriving nonprofit organization to identify a Director of Talent Acquisition who will lead and execute a strategic, organization-wide recruiting function. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for an experienced talent acquisition professional who is passionate about building diverse, mission-driven teams and creating innovative hiring strategies that support organizational growth. As a key member of the leadership team, the Director of Talent Acquisition will partner with leaders across the organization to develop and implement forward-thinking recruitment strategies, strengthen employer branding, and ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent. This role will oversee the full talent acquisition function while leveraging data, market insights, and best practices to drive recruiting success.
What You'll Do:
Develop and execute innovative talent acquisition strategies to attract diverse, high-quality talent across the organization.
Lead the full recruitment lifecycle, from workforce planning and sourcing through onboarding.
Partner closely with hiring managers and organizational leaders to understand current and future hiring needs.
Conduct market research and provide strategic workforce recommendations to support business objectives.
Collaborate with internal communications and marketing teams to strengthen employer branding and employee value proposition initiatives.
Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws, regulations, EEO guidelines, and recruiting best practices.
Track, analyze, and report on key recruiting metrics to drive continuous process improvement and enhance candidate experience.
Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives throughout the hiring process.
Manage relationships with external recruiting partners, vendors, and industry networks.
Lead, mentor, and develop members of the People & Culture team.
Stay current on talent acquisition trends, labor markets, HR best practices, and employment legislation.
Support broader HR initiatives, policies, and projects as needed.
Ideal Qualifications:
5+ years of talent acquisition leadership experience, preferably within a large or complex organization.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred.
Experience within nonprofit, human services, healthcare, or mission-driven organizations is a plus.
Demonstrated success building and scaling talent acquisition programs and recruitment strategies.
Strong partnership and relationship-building skills with executives, hiring managers, and key stakeholders.
Exceptional interviewing, candidate assessment, and talent evaluation capabilities.
Proven ability to use recruiting metrics and data to influence business decisions.
Strong project management, organizational, and time management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment while managing multiple priorities.
Advanced proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HRIS platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
