About the role

ASCP Staff Medical Technologist - MLT / MT Generalist We are seeking a highly motivated Medical Technologist to join our team at our state-of-the-art flagship hospital. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of clinical laboratory tests and procedures to provide accurate and timely diagnostic information to healthcare providers.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform laboratory tests and procedures according to established protocols and quality control standards
  • Analyze and interpret test results, and report findings to healthcare providers
  • Maintain accurate and complete laboratory records and documentation
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with laboratory equipment and procedures
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure accurate and reliable test results
  • Maintain inventory and ensure proper functioning of laboratory equipment and supplies
  • Adhere to laboratory safety and infection control protocols
Qualifications:
  • Associates degree in medical technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related fieldASCP certification or equivalent required 2+ years of experience in a clinical laboratory
  • Strong knowledge of laboratory regulations and quality control standards
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
