About the role

Japanese-English Interpreter & Translator Remote (Available in NY, NJ, CA, TX, GA, IL, WA, OR, NV) Our client; unicorn american tech start-up company is seeking two Japanese-English bilingual contractors to support enterprise clients using a fast-growing technology platform. This is a client-facing, post-sales role working closely with Customer Success and Account Management teams. The successful candidates will provide live interpretation and written translation while supporting Japanese clients through onboarding, product training, regular check-ins, and ongoing communications.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide consecutive Japanese-English interpretation during client meetings via Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams
  • Support onboarding sessions, product demonstrations, training, and recurring client check-ins
  • Translate emails, internal/external messages, presentation materials, and other business communications
  • Help facilitate communication between U.S.-based teams and Japanese enterprise clients
  • Maintain continuity across assigned client accounts and build familiarity with ongoing projects and client needs
  • Provide timely translation support during agreed working hours
  • ScheduleApproximately 5-6 hours per day, 4 days per week; can be a fulltime position as well
