About the role

Teaching and Choreography Training period includes paid apprenticeship learning under the guidance of a master teacher, and participating in training and enrichment workshops to learn the pedagogy and build teaching skills. Schedule can range from 3-12 hours/week Prepares assignments and lesson plans for classes as directed by lead teaching artist Works collaboratively with teaching and music team to create choreography for outreach programs Production Support• Works backstage in support of culminating performances for programs

Physical Requirements: Requires weekend and evening hours Requires extensive physical movement, dance, high energy, and stamina In applicable programs performs functions in a variety of environments including: NDI New Mexico offices, schools, residency sites, and other locations In applicable programs may require reimbursable in-state travel to NDI New Mexico locations, participating schools, residency sites, and community events
