Commercial Plumbing Superintendent Requirements & Qualifications: Minimum 10 years of commercial plumbing experience preferred Significant hands-on field experience with a commercial plumbing contractor Previous leadership experience as Foreman, General Foreman, Superintendent, or similar Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and project documents Experience managing multiple crews and foremen Comfortable working on commercial projects ranging from approximately $25K to $2.5M+Union plumbing experience is a plus Strong leadership skills with a practical, hands-on management style Commercial Plumbing Superintendent Day-to-
Day Responsibilities: Oversee commercial plumbing field operations from mobilization through project completion Lead and support multiple plumbing crews and foremen while planning manpower and resources Coordinate daily and weekly field schedules to maintain project timelines Collaborate with project managers, general contractors, inspectors, and other trades Monitor field productivity and resolve scheduling or labor issues proactively Assist with material planning, procurement, and equipment needs Troubleshoot field challenges and provide technical guidance to crews Maintain a strong focus on jobsite safety and quality standards Participate in project planning and constructability reviews Help recruit, develop, and retain skilled field personnel This is an excellent opportunity to lead in a family-owned setting with the autonomy to shape operations and contribute directly to company growth.
