About the role
Helpdesk Support SpecialistTransPerfect Connect is seeking an energetic individual to work full-time on-site as a Helpdesk Support Specialist. This position will provide on-site and remote technical support, with opportunities to be exposed to an enterprise computing environment. The qualified candidate should have good technical troubleshooting skills and excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and contribute to a highly productive team environment.Responsibilities:Resolve Helpdesk tickets and provide on-site support dailyTroubleshoot hardware, software, network issues and escalate complex issues to the appropriate teamsInstalling, configuring, support desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripheralMaintain and track inventories of all computing equipment including PCs, monitors, printers, scanners, and other peripheral equipmentCreate and maintain knowledge base documentationProvide on-call support as scheduledAbout You:Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:Hardware: desktop, laptopOS: Windows 10 / 11, Mac OSApplication: MS Office 365/2021/2013, SharePoint, OneDrive, Zoom, Duo, Slack, TeamTier 1 network support TCP/IP, WiFi, DHCP, DNS, Cabling, etc.Basic Knowledge of supporting mobile devices and appBasic Knowledge of virus and malware removal techniquesAttention to detailAbility to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced environmentAbility to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environmentCommunicate effectively both oral and in writingExceptional customer service orientationThe ability to lift up to 50 lbsYour experience includes:Minimum of High School diploma, Associate or Bachelor's degree in Information technology or related field preferred2+ years of IT related work experienceCertifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or equivalent field experience are a plusVOIP experience preferredTransPerfect provides equal employment opportunity to all individuals regardless of their race, color, creed, religion, gender, age, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by state, federal, or local law.
