About the role
The Receptionist manages our front desk activities daily and performs a variety of clerical tasks. Serving as the first point of contact for St. Clair County Housing Authority, the Receptionist plays a key role in making a positive impression on our visitors and providing essential support across the organization.
Responsibilities
Receptionist/Public contact activities including: Excellent Customer Service. Pleasant and professional greetings to all guests.
Ensure all applicants/visitors are recorded on daily visitor logs.
Refer questions and complaints about Housing Authority policies, programs, procedures, requirements, etc. to appropriate staff or department.
Comply with the requirements of Business Casual Work Attire.
Maintain appearance of public area of office including entrance, receptionist area and lobby.
Proper care, use and maintenance of all equipment, furniture, supplies, and keys.
Assist applicants / participants with completion and routing of forms and documents for various programs.
