About the role
Mission Control Shift Supervisor Our client, an automotive company, is looking for a Mission Control Shift Supervisor for their Foster City, CA location. Responsibilities include upholding a safety-centric, inclusive and open-communication culture, supporting vehicle operators in day-to-day operations, completing all administrative tasks with regards to team coordination and schedule validation, becoming knowledge experts on client proprietary software related to Mission Control Ops, motivating and managing workflows to execute and deliver to client high standards, interacting with contractors assigned to client to answer questions, provide information, and ensure they understand and execute on their job assignments, supporting service through a wide variety of roles in remote ops, and other related duties as assigned from time to time by leadership.
Requirements include:
2 years of autonomous vehicle operator experience and/or remote operations, high school/GED required, experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality, proven ability to problem solve and improve operational efficiency, proactive mindset and resourcefulness, and strong written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with team members and management and explain technical issues.
Preferred skills include:
12 months of experience with client as an employee or contractor in a Vehicle Operations/ Remote Operations role, 2+ years autonomous vehicle industry or operations experience, experience as an instructor or lead within an operations team, or equivalent management or leadership experience, and experience in leading or managing a highly cross functional team.
