General Manager Shift Workspaces | Denver, COFull-Time | On-SiteAbout the RoleShift Workspaces is seeking an experienced, hospitality-minded General Manager to lead one of our Denver coworking locations. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for the overall success of the location, including team leadership, sales and retention, financial performance, daily operations, member experience, and facility management. The ideal candidate enjoys wearing multiple hats, building relationships, solving problems, and taking ownership of a dynamic workspace.
What You'll Do: Lead, coach, and support the onsite team while fostering accountability, collaboration, and exceptional service. Own the day-to-day operations and performance of the location. Manage the sales process, including tours, prospect follow-up, proposals, memberships, renewals, and retention. Build strong member relationships and deliver a welcoming, personalized experience. Oversee member onboarding, office moves, transitions, and other key operational processes. Plan and execute community programming, events, and hospitality initiatives. Monitor revenue, billing, accounts receivable, expenses, budgets, and financial performance. Ensure the workspace is clean, functional, well maintained, and ready for members, guests, and tours. Manage vendors, maintenance needs, building services, and operational projects. Maintain accurate records across CRM, billing, member management, and operational systems. Collaborate with Shift leadership and other locations on companywide initiatives. Serve as an ambassador for the Shift brand and uphold a high standard across every member and guest interaction.
What We're Looking For: Leadership experience in coworking, hospitality, property operations, office management, customer service, or a related field. Strong leadership, communication, organization, and relationship-building skills. Confidence with sales, pricing, contracts, renewals, and member conversations. Comfort working with budgets, billing, accounts receivable, and financial reporting. A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail. Ability to manage competing priorities and take ownership with minimal direction. Comfort learning and working across multiple technology platforms. Flexibility to balance strategic priorities with hands-on operational needs.
Schedule & Environment: This is a full-time, onsite position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Occasional early mornings, evenings, weekends, or after-hours availability may be required for events or operational needs. Some local travel between Shift Workspaces locations and community or business events may also be required.
