About the role

To support sustainable development efforts in Senegal, the full-time Country Lead - Senegal will coordinate country-level activities, strengthen partnerships, and drive integrated communications and advocacy campaigns in a fully remote capacity. Key responsibilities Translate regional strategy into impactful country-level priorities and initiatives Build and maintain relationships with government representatives, media, and civil society to advance organizational priorities Coordinate integrated communications and advocacy campaigns, ensuring measurable outcomes and long-term impact Required qualifications Fluency in written and spoken English; additional languages are an asset Demonstrated knowledge and experience in strategic communications, political campaigning, or journalism Solid understanding of the political and media landscape in Senegal and Francophone Africa Proven track record of managing teams and delivering effective communications strategies Strong network of contacts relevant to the role, with experience in building media relationships
