About the role
Company Description:
Ship Angel delivers the world’s first AI-native operating system for beneficial cargo owners (BCOs), offering a single modular platform that replaces fragmented freight tools. By unifying rates, bookings, and shipment visibility into one source of truth, the company provides comprehensive freight intelligence that removes blind spots and supports faster, data-driven decisions. Ship Angel’s solution is designed to drive significant cost savings while improving scalability, compliance, and resilience for global enterprises. The organization focuses on modernizing freight operations through advanced technology and automation, enabling customers to manage complex logistics with greater control and transparency.
Role Description:
The Account Executive role at Ship Angel is a full-time, remote role. The individual in this role will manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualifying leads to conducting product demos, developing proposals, and closing new business with enterprise BCOs. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and maintaining a robust pipeline, collaborating with marketing and product teams to refine messaging, and tailoring solutions to client needs. The Account Executive will nurture key relationships, handle contract negotiations, and provide ongoing account management to ensure customer satisfaction and growth. This role also involves tracking performance metrics, maintaining accurate CRM records, and continuously improving sales strategies based on market feedback and data.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience in B2B or SaaS sales, preferably in logistics, supply chain, or enterprise software. Strong skills in prospecting, lead qualification, pipeline management, and closing complex deals. Ability to deliver compelling product demos and presentations to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience with contract negotiation, pricing discussions, and long-term account relationship management. Comfort working with CRM tools and sales analytics to manage activities and forecast revenue. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a consultative and customer-focused approach. Collaborative mindset with the ability to work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to understand complex operational and technical requirements. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Interest in AI-driven products and modern freight technology; prior experience in logistics or transportation is a plus.
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
