Technical Product Owner III – Louisville, KYWe’re hiring a Technical Product Owner III to support a large enterprise technology organization focused on internal platforms, developer tooling, cloud infrastructure, automation, and engineering productivity.
Location: Louisville, KY
Schedule: Hybrid – onsite Tuesdays and Thursdays
Duration: 6-month contract
Pay: $50–$55/hrRequirement: Candidates must be local to the Louisville area
What You’ll Do:
- Own and prioritize the product backlog for internal technical and platform products
- Translate engineering and stakeholder needs into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Contribute to roadmaps across CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, observability, automation, and developer tooling
- Partner closely with Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE, Solutions Architecture, Cloud, and Security teams
- Gather feedback from internal engineering teams and use it to improve platform capabilities
- Help drive adoption of self-service tools and automation that reduce manual support
- Track platform adoption, productivity, operational efficiency, and user satisfaction
- Communicate priorities, roadmap decisions, and progress across technical stakeholder groups
What We’re Looking For:
- 1–2+ years of Product Management or Technical Product Owner experience
- Approximately 3 years of experience supporting technical products, engineering teams, developers, or IT organizations
- Strong Agile backlog management experience
- Experience writing user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria
- Strong requirements gathering and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working closely with engineering teams
- Familiarity with product metrics and measuring adoption or outcomes
- Bachelor’s degree required
Preferred Experience:
- Developer platforms or internal engineering toolsCI/CD, DevOps, SRE, or cloud infrastructure
- Automation and self-service platforms
- Developer experience/productivity initiatives
- Systems integration or APIsConsumer-scale digital, retail, restaurant, or high-transaction environments
- Restaurant technology or point-of-sale systems
