PepsiCo Manufacturing and Filling Equipment Operator
Pay: $33.50 per hour Location: Wytheville, VA Work Days: Rotating Days (Includes Weekends) Start Time: 5:45 PM End Time: 6:08 AM Support the sourcing and manufacturing of ingredients and concentrate kits for PepsiCo's beloved beverage brands, safely, accurately, and as part of a global team.
What You'll Do:
  • Operate manufacturing and filling equipment in Liquids and Salts production areas
  • Set up production by completing line clearances, changeovers, startups, shutdowns, and production orders
  • Verify materials, labels, batch codes, date codes, packaging components, and label appearance before and during production
  • Perform and document quality checks such as weight verification, specific gravity, reconciliation, checkweigher validation, metal detector challenges, and process monitoring
  • Clean, sanitize, and inspect filling equipment, including lines, fillers, tanks, pumps, scales, hoppers, hoses, and supporting equipment
  • Use equipment such as box makers, label applicators, case sealers, palletizers, forklifts, quality stations, and barcode scanning systems
  • Maintain accurate sanitation, production, setup, quality, inventory, and traceability records in systems such as SAP, MII, and Digital Factory
  • Communicate safety, quality, equipment, production, and material concerns to team leaders, supervisors, Quality, or Maintenance as needed
  • Follow food safety, GMP, environmental, hazardous material, PPE, and regulatory requirements while supporting safe operations and pep+ commitments
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Forklift certification
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, shifts, and overtime
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds for long periods of time with or without reasonable accommodationsAbility to sit, stand, squat, bend, go up/down stairs and twist for long periods of time with or without reasonable accommodationsAbility to work in a non-climate controlled environment
