About the role

Nudge Research Staff Position At Nudge, our mission is to develop the best technology for interfacing with the brain to improve people's lives. We're starting with an approach that we believe can help the most people the fastest, and also allow us to learn as much about the brain as possible: developing a non-invasive, ultrasound-based device that can stimulate and image the brain at high resolution and depth. This is a vertically integrated effort building cutting-edge hardware, software, and research capabilities to create products that can benefit millions — and eventually billions — of people. To succeed, we need to assemble world-class teams across everything we do. We hire people who are exceptional at their craft, believe hard things are worth doing, and execute relentlessly — people who expect the highest levels of both rigor and integrity from each other.
About the Role: As a member of research staff at Nudge, you will:
  • Help design, execute, and analyze human neuroscience studies that advance the development of next-generation neurotechnology
  • Collaborate closely with research and engineering teams to run high-quality data collection for studies and R&D experiments
  • Execute experimental protocols: administer cognitive tasks and collect imaging/physiological data in clinical and non-clinical populations
  • Operate and develop expertise in neuromodulation and imaging systems, helping refine experimental methods and research capabilities
About You: We are looking for research staff of all levels. Regardless of your experience level, you should have:
  • A bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree in neuroscience, psychology, cognitive science, biomedical engineering, computer science, or a related field
  • A demonstrated history of exceptional contributions in your prior work experiences
  • Experience conducting experimental research and analyzing behavioral, physiological, imaging, or other complex datasets
  • Strong scientific reasoning, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • High integrity and strong professional judgement

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
