A Day in the Life AppLovin is looking for a demand‐side business builder in the in‐app performance advertising space to join our Consumer function in North America. In this highly visible role, you will shape and grow the share of wallet across new and existing accounts in rapidly growing categories such as e‐Commerce, retail, subscription and lead generation for both web and app based brands.You will engage with consumer clients, participate in strategic discussions with digital marketers, and drive cross‐team collaboration with Supply Business Development, Client Services, Technical Services, Product Marketing and Product teams. The Impact You'll Make Engage with CMOs and Heads of Marketing of consumer mobile apps to manage growth and implement strong consultative sales processes. Develop strategic relationships by identifying key new business opportunities.Proactively contact new and existing clients to educate, propose and secure buy‐in for AppLovin's Axon advertising platform. Identify, propose and sell to targeted organizations across North America to achieve sales goals. Lead key agency relationships to develop partner growth across North America. Manage the entire sales cycle and individual sales pipeline to maximize revenue while providing accurate forecasts. Provide an high level of professionalism and service in responding to client requests.Understand client priorities and drive a revenue growth action plan. Formulate and communicate product, strategic value, contractual, technical and financial updates with partners and stakeholders. Partner with the broader AppLovin Business Development and Sales teams in the region. Be a team player with a keen understanding of internal cross‐functional and international collaboration. Translate partner feedback into prioritized business cases to inform the product roadmap.Attend industry events and conferences to represent AppLovin and grow industry knowledge. Work closely with product teams and partners to navigate and launch product betas, integrations and commercialization strategies.Basic QualificationsConsistently a top performer on a high‐performing team. Solid experience in digital marketing with a focus on consumer app and web brands and agencies. Strong experience selling to marketing teams at consumer app and web companies and agencies. Excellent attention to detail and passion for the mobile and e‐Commerce ecosystems. Ability to work cross‐functionally to drive outcomes for demand clients. Understanding of the larger business context and ability to contribute to the platform. Thrives in early‐stage business settings. Excellent communication skills; listens actively and translates feedback to product teams.Preferred QualificationsAt least five years of work experience, preferably in sales with consumer app companies, e‐Commerce and agencies. Understanding of the mobile advertising ecosystem. Willingness to travel as needed.Compensation and BenefitsAn attractive total compensation package with a pay‐for‐performance rewards approach. Compensation ranges vary by location: $229,000–$376,000 USD for California, New York and Washington; $204,000–$335,000 USD for other states. Equity eligible. Benefits include unlimited discretionary time off, 10 paid holidays, 80 hours sick leave, dental and vision coverage, and other benefits.
