About the role

Shuttle DriverWinnCompanies is searching for a Shuttle Driver to join our team at Oaks at Olde Towne, a 72-unit senior, affordable housing community located in Gaithersburg, MD.In this role, you will be responsible for transporting residents from our apartment community to local shopping center four to five days a week using the property owned van. The pay for this role is $17.65-$18.00 per hour. The selected candidate will work 4-5 hour shifts 4-5 days per week. Please note that this role is a part-time position working up to 20 hours per week.
Responsibilities: Safely operate the property shuttle and transport residents to scheduled destinations. Assist and escort residents to and from the shuttle as needed while prioritizing their safety. Conduct routine checks of the vehicle and report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly. Ensure the shuttle remains clean, presentable, and ready for scheduled transportation. Maintain a safe, professional, and courteous environment for all residents. Maintain the required CDL and any other applicable credentials necessary to operate the shuttle. Communicate any scheduling, vehicle, or resident-related concerns to management
Requirements: 1-3 years of relevant work experience. A current vehicle license in good standing and meet the driving records standards outlined in the Company Safe Vehicular Operations Policy. Basic familiarity with computer systems and web-based applications. Comprehend and converse in English to communicate effectively with organization staff, clients and visitors. Provide a high level of customer service to meet customer service standards and expectations for the assigned responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications: Previous shuttle, passenger transportation or similar driving experience. Comfortable working with senior population. Reliability, patience, professionalism and a strong commitment to resident safety.
