About the role
Registered Nurse – Correctional In-person interviews are required Monday through Friday at 10 AM EST. The contract duration is between 26 to 52 weeks. Candidates must clear a state-run Criminal History Form prior to starting, which may take up to 4 weeks. Must possess a license and current registration as a registered professional nurse in New York State. Coordinate and provide direct nursing care to incarcerated individuals. Conduct health assessments and prepare nursing care plans. Diagnose and treat health problems through nursing services. Consult with treatment teams regarding nursing matters. Serve as a member of interdisciplinary health care teams.
