Security Supervisor We are seeking an experienced Security Supervisor to oversee security operations at a professional client site. The ideal candidate will have prior security supervisory experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a professional presence while effectively managing day-to-day security operations.
Location: Merrillville, IN
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday Friday, 6:30 AM5:00 PM
Pay: $20.00$22.00 per hour, depending on experience
Requirements:
Prior security supervisor experience required Valid driver's license Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)Reliable transportation Successful completion of a criminal background check Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening Ability to obtain and maintain applicable automobile insurance
Preferred Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; some college education preferred Strong organizational and interpersonal skills Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel Ability to conduct web searches and navigate online systems Strong written and verbal communication skills Professional demeanor when interacting with clients, employees, visitors, authorities, and the public
Essential Functions:
Supervise and support security personnel and daily site operations Maintain composure and professionalism when dealing with clients, executives, employees, authorities, and the public, including during urgent or emergency situations Maintain and safeguard sensitive and confidential information Complete reports, documentation, and other administrative duties as required Use computer and mobile technology to access schedules, reports, correspondence, and other business information Respond to security incidents and emergencies as needed Schedule &
