About Company: Kundlas Consulting Group LLC is a professional consulting firm specializing in construction inspection and compliance services for public infrastructure projects. Our core services include on-site inspection of roadway, bridge, and utility construction to ensure adherence to engineering specifications, safety standards, and contract requirements. We support clients with daily reporting, materials testing coordination, schedule tracking, and quality assurance oversight. Additional services include project management, grants management for federally funded infrastructure and disaster recovery programs.
About the Role: The Electrical Inspector will inspect electrical materials and equipment, including wires, cables, fiber optic cables, and related components used by the Authority. This role requires knowledge of electrical codes, industry standards, manufacturer testing, and factory inspection practices.
Minimum Qualifications: Experience inspecting various types of wire, cable, and electrical equipment. Thorough knowledge of applicable industry codes and standards. Experience inspecting and testing wires and cables, including fiber optic cables. Ability to critically review wire and cable test reports from manufacturers.
Preferred Qualifications: Associate's degree in electrical engineering or a related field. At least five years of relevant inspection experience. Experience performing factory inspections. Experience witnessing the manufacture and testing of wire and cable.
Responsibilities: Inspect wires, cables, fiber optic cables, and electrical equipment. Review and evaluate manufacturer test reports. Perform factory inspections when required. Witness manufacturing and testing activities. Verify compliance with Authority wire and cable standards. Prepare inspection findings and documentation. Skills Electrical inspection, wire and cable inspection, fiber optic cable testing, test report review, factory inspection, electrical codes and standards, quality assurance, and technical documentation.
