About the role

Managing complex contract negotiations and provider relationships, the full-time Provider Contracting Advisor will work remotely to support commercial contracting activities and develop value-based business opportunities within the Alabama territory. Key responsibilities Oversees complex contracting and negotiations for fee-for-service and value-based reimbursements Builds and nurtures provider partnerships while contributing to network analytics and alternative network initiatives Prepares and analyzes financial impacts of provider contracts and resolves escalated provider service complaints Required qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Healthcare, or Business preferred; MBA or MHA is a plus 3+ years of experience in Managed Care contracting and negotiations Knowledge of complex reimbursement methodologies and incentive-based models Demonstrated experience in developing and managing key provider relationships Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and financial acumen skills
