We are seeking someone with 2–3 years of commercial construction experience who is ready to take the next step in their career and play an important role in delivering complex, high-quality projects.As a Project Engineer, you will work closely with the Project Manager, Superintendent, subcontractors, design team, and owner to support the successful execution of projects from preconstruction through completion. Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupport the Project Manager and Superintendent in managing day-to-day project activitiesAssist with project administration, documentation, and reportingManage submittals, RFIs, ASIs, change orders, and project correspondenceReview plans, specifications, and contract documentsAssist with subcontractor procurement, buyout, and scope reviewTrack project costs, schedules, and commitmentsParticipate in project meetings with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractorsCoordinate with field operations to ensure project requirements are being metHelp identify and resolve project issues before they impact cost or scheduleAssist with monthly billings, pay applications, and project closeoutDevelop strong working relationships with subcontractors, vendors, clients, and project partners Qualifications2–3 years of commercial construction experience as a Project Engineer or Project Engineer Intern, preferably with a general contractorBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferredStrong understanding of construction plans, specifications, and contract documentsExcellent organizational and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesStrong attention to detail and problem-solving abilityProficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud and/or Bluebeam is a plusA team-oriented attitude and willingness to take ownershipAbility to communicate effectively with both office and field personnel  Why W.G.
