About the role

Resident Coffee exists to tell the stories of incredible coffee and the remarkable people involved along the way. We roast and serve coffees from trusted partners around the world, focusing on transparency, intentional sourcing, and quality. Based in Gainesville, Florida, were a small team passionate about creating meaningful connections through coffee, with our community and with the producers we work with. In May of last year, we opened our first cafe at 4401 NW 25th Place in Gainesville. Its a 3,500-square-foot space with a full kitchen and coffee bar, built to match the care and quality of our roasting. The cafe is an inviting, detail-forward space where great food and great coffee live side by side. Our food program reflects our backgrounds and values: Hispanic-influenced, locally sourced when possible, and made with better ingredients and better choices. It has become the next step in deepening the Resident experience for our community.-----Position: 60; Prep / Line Cook

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
