About the role
Job Summary:
We are seeking a customer-focused Desktop Support Technician to provide technical, white glove IT support across our client’s corporate office in Manhattan. In this role, you will deliver hands-on technical support to corporate end users, executive leadership, a various departmental teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and resolve issues on Windows 10, Windows 11, macOS and Apple devices (iOS, iPads).Provide executive/VIP/white glove support Provide face to face customer service and walk in support Conduct device migration transitioning between Windows and Mac environments. Software Deployment & Patch Management: Provide technical assistance for desktop client applications, ensuring optimal software performance. Conduct installations, moves, additions, and changes (IMAC), as well as break/fix solutions for laptops and desktops. Handle procurement, disposal, and inventory tracking of IT hardware. Manage devices through Intune and JAMF for enterprise-wide security and configuration. Incident and problem management, leveraging Nex Think for in-depth problem analysis. Deliver desk-side assistance, conference room technology support, and field services for remote sites.
Required Qualifications:
3–5 years of hands-on desktop support Executive/VIP/White Glove Support experience Skilled in diagnosing and resolving issues on Windows 10, Windows 11, macOS and Apple devices (iOS, iPads).Walk-in Support experience Device Migration: Experience with seamless transitions between Windows and Mac environments. Software Deployment & Patch Management: Proficient in managing OS image patching, software updates, and application deployments. End-User Support: Providing technical assistance for desktop client applications, ensuring optimal software performance. Hardware Services: Ability to conduct installations, moves, additions, and changes (IMAC), as well as break/fix solutions for laptops and desktops. Ability to handle procurement, disposal, and inventory tracking of IT hardware. Experience managing devices through Intune and JAMF for enterprise-wide security and configuration. Expertise in incident and problem management, leveraging Nex Think for in-depth problem analysis Experience providing on-site & remote IT Support Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the composure to support non-technical teams and executive leaders in a fast-paced environment.
