About the role
Project or Senior Environmental Geologist, Engineer or Scientist Ninyo & Moore has openings for Project and Senior Environmental Geologists, Engineers, or Scientists in our Phoenix, AZ office. The successful candidate will oversee environmental site assessments (Phase I and II ESAs), facility investigations, hazardous waste site investigations, technical report writing, and mentoring of future leaders. Other duties include establishing project objectives, procedures, and performance standards, training multidisciplinary teams on site reconnaissance, managing projects and budgets, proposal writing, pricing strategies, and marketing efforts to develop winning proposals. The candidate must maintain and enhance relationships with clients, regulatory agencies, and industry professionals by providing exceptional service.
Project level: 5+ years' experience
Senior level: 8+ years' experience
Candidates should have experience performing these tasks with at least three years of managing or coordinating project budgets and staff. Solid writing skills, attention to detail, effective communication, and familiarity with Phase I (ASTM E1527-21), Phase II (ASTM E1903) are required. Ability to work independently, collaborate, mentor technical staff, and prepare technical reports is essential. Mentoring and hands-on assistance in verbal and written skills are also expected.
