Role Description:
The Construction Project Manager at Plane Sense, Inc. is a part-time, remote role responsible for overseeing construction and facility-related projects that support the company’s operational needs. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating project activities, managing timelines, monitoring budgets, and ensuring that construction work aligns with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. This role involves collaborating with internal stakeholders, external contractors, and vendors to define project scope, prepare documentation, and resolve issues that arise during the construction lifecycle. The Construction Project Manager will review plans, track progress, provide regular status updates, and recommend adjustments to keep projects on schedule and within budget. The position requires proactive communication, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while working independently.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated skills in Construction Project Management and Construction Management for facilities or infrastructure projects. Proficiency in Project Management and Project Coordination, including scheduling, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication. Experience with Budgeting, cost tracking, and financial oversight for construction or capital projects. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail and risk management. Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with remote teams and external partners. Ability to work part-time in a remote environment, manage priorities independently, and adapt to changing project needs. Familiarity with construction contracts, building codes, and regulatory requirements is beneficial. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Experience in aviation, industrial, or commercial facility projects is a plus.
