Salary Range: $20.00 To $23.00 HourlyDRIVER - Valet Parking Attendant - to work in the Rochester, NY area - FT & PT available. We are seeking team members to work Monday-Friday. Mostly midday 9-5 or 10-6 shifts are needed at this time. Some flexibility will be needed, as well as some weekend event work (OT!).Pay varies by location, but staff can expect to earn $20-23/hour on average between their base pay and tips. Job Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Able to drive a standard transmission vehicle to the satisfaction of management (some training is available in the right situation)
  • Have your own transportation (driving experience)
  • Have experience working in customer service
  • Must have a good driving record
  • Communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.
Duties and responsibilities:
  • To maintain a professional image for our client establishment
  • To assist any and all patrons in any way we can
  • To park their vehicle in a safe manner, ensuring its safety at all times
  • To run back to the valet station as quickly as possible, ensuring that customers will not have to wait for service
  • To get along well with their coworkers and enjoy their job
  • Physical Demands
  • Standing for the duration of your shift
  • Running up to 50 times a day or more to the parking area
  • Entering and exiting customers' vehicles 75 or more times daily
  • Lifting wheelchairs, strollers, walkers, baggage, gifts, etc. (in and out of customers' vehicles)
  • Communicate effectively with customers and coworkers
Work environment: Outdoors for the duration of the shift. Inclement weather (hot, cold, precipitation, etc) will have a significant impact on the employee's work environment. Shifts will not be canceled due to inclement weather and all employees will be required to attend their scheduled shifts, and maintain a high quality of work despite weather conditions. We are seeking both full-time and part-time staff. Applicants with a background in customer service, hospitality, retail, transportation, and security often make a good fit for this position.
