About the role
Our client, a leading global law firm, is seeking a Senior Manager of Legal Recruiting to lead attorney recruitment initiatives for its New York office. This is a highly visible role partnering closely with firm leadership, hiring committees, and legal recruiting professionals to drive strategic hiring efforts across multiple talent pipelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage lateral associate recruiting, judicial clerk hiring, and law student recruitment initiatives
- Lead the planning and execution of the firm's law student recruiting season, including OCI, callback interviews, and offer management
- Develop and maintain relationships with law schools, career services professionals, and student organizations
- Oversee summer associate recruiting, programming, events, and candidate experience initiatives
- Partner with practice group leadership to understand hiring needs and execute lateral recruiting strategies
- Collaborate with hiring committees and key stakeholders throughout the recruitment process
- Analyze recruiting metrics and trends to support strategic decision-making
- Assist with recruiting budgets, reporting, and special projects
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of attorney/legal recruiting experience within a law firm environment
- Experience supporting both law student recruiting and lateral associate hiring preferred
- Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proven project management and organizational abilities
- Experience utilizing recruiting systems and reporting tools
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
