Job Description:
Job Description The Payroll Manager is responsible for overseeing cost and risk estimating, analysis, and control activities related to payroll. This role ensures the timely preparation and accurate distribution of company salaries, overhead, and benefits in compliance with federal and state regulations. The manager also leads cost accounting initiatives, supports decision-making through meaningful cost data, and manages the payroll department's staffing and performance targets. This is a Hybrid positon.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyze cost reports and audits related to payroll and labor costsAnalyze labor costs in relation to revenueLead the implementation of standard inventory valuation systems and cost accounting aspects within SAPEnsure payroll data supports effective decision-making and performance measurementManage payroll department staffing, supervision, training, and performance targetsStay current with tax regulations and advise management on compliance implicationsPerform other duties as assignedRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or a related fieldPreferred QualificationsMore than 5 years of experience in payroll management
